After breakfast and hanging the washing out, we hopped on the bikes and followed our noses. This is a route we have done many times, and Wendy thought it was much more fun on a bike with front shockies. We stopped for coffee and half a muffin each at Margot Wine and Espresso Bar looking out over Lake Burley Griffin, very relaxing.
On our way home we stopped at Bunnings for some new taps and a few other odds and ends. Back at home, Greg got busy changing the four taps in the laundry. When it was all done, he turned the mains back on then tried the taps. Unfortunately for Greg, the pressure build up blew one of the hoses clean off the machine, but as it was not needed immediately, we were able to have lunch.
After a nana nap, Wendy went for a walk to the shops for a few supplies and Greg walked to Bunnings for a new washing machine hose that he fitted without any further mishaps.
Greg received a very welcome parcel today - a charger for his e-MTB as the original was inadvertently not packed in the bike bag when we left home! So now Greg can ride to his hearts' content.
