Up and out of bed by 6:20am for a Sat morning 7:15am bike ride. We headed out towards Gungahlin where we met up with Bob. Continued onto Gungahlin where we paid a quick visit to our old married quarter in Sarre Street. The 'miniature' gum trees Greg planted on the front foot path are now about 15m high, and not so miniature! We then rode onto Horse Park Drive, Wells Station Road and Northbourne Ave to Dixon for sustenance, at our previously favourite cafe. Back home via ANU and the Lake. Greg had a cuppa tea on the patio and Wendy kept him company until we realised the cricket was on. Greg stayed outside with the radio while Wendy watched the TV with the sound muted, until there was something to get excited about.
After lunch we had a little rest before visiting Rob in hospital. While his colour has returned and the infection gone, he is still a tad confused, but still knew us and that he had been there for about 3-4 days (went in on Tue night). Home via Woolies to pick up a few groceries; that's the beauty of living so close to shops, you don't have to do a weekly shop.
Greg decided to go for another short ride but a flat tyre put an end to that. So, while he fixed that, Wendy watched the cricket and read her book. After dinner, Greg went for a short walk to settle his tummy while Wendy blogged.
