Ride G: 92km; total: 613kmkm
Ride W: 67km; total: 375km
Walk G: 2km; total: 105km
Walk W: 4km; total: 87km

A great morning for a ride. We met Bob just before Gungahlin and he suggested an alternative route to the usual, so off we went. It was certainly quite hilly, and we eventually made it to Horse Park Drive, then onto Majura Parkway, that used to be Majura Road. When we lived here this road was a two laned road, sometimes without a verge, and definitely not bike friendly. Today is it a four-lane highway with a separate bike path to rival those in Europe - well done Canberra. It would have made riding to work for both of us so much easier. We made it to the airport shopping precinct in time for mornos. Bob then speared off in a different direction to home (his battery was running low), while we made our way home via the Kingston foreshore.

Before lunch, Greg re-painted the tops of the resident bedside tables to look more respectable against the new cube shelving. After lunch, we both had a little rest. We both did a few minor jobs before a light dinner. After the rain stopped, Greg decided it would be safe and dry enough to ride in to see the 9pm fireworks. Wendy stayed home and looked after and played with Nala. Greg was home before 10pm.

Wendy's bike computer developed a 'communication error'; just needed to shut down and wake  it up again

We think the route looks a bit odd from Jerrabomberra due to Wendy's Strava having a hissy fit
